Google DeepMind launches Nano Banana 2 Lite, ranks #5 in Text-to-Image arena

Google DeepMind has launched the Nano Banana 2 Lite, a component of their Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite Image, which has entered the Text-to-Image Arena and currently ranks #5 overall. This model is recognized as the fastest and cheapest in its category, scoring 1251 while costing only $0.034 per image, making it a significant contender in cost-to-quality metrics.
