MigraineAI | AI Migraine Tracker and Prediction App

$22.00

Description

MigraineAI is a fully native, dual-platform health app that predicts migraine risk before an attack starts — not just logs it after. Built separately and natively for iOS (SwiftUI) and Android (Jetpack Compose), both apps share the same explainable, on-device AI engine, the same feature set, and the same design language, while respecting each platform’s own conventions (Apple HIG on iOS, Material 3 on Android).

Why MigraineAI is different

The prediction engine is never a black box. Every risk score is broken down into individually weighted, human-readable factors — sleep, hydration, stress, barometric pressure drops, humidity, hormonal cycle window, screen time, and late caffeine — so the app can always explain why today’s risk is elevated, not just that it is. No cloud inference, no API keys required to run the core app: predictions run entirely on-device.

High risk is not left as a number. Today turns it into actions a patient can take (drink water, skip late caffeine, take a preventive), and an open attack can be ended with a recorded duration — the first thing a neurologist asks.

Important — Apple WeatherKit requires your own account and involves associated costs

Using Apple’s WeatherKit requires your own Apple Developer account and involves associated costs. WeatherKit is how the iOS app fetches live barometric pressure and humidity. It is not included for free with this source code.

  • You must hold an active paid Apple Developer Program membership (currently USD $99 / year) to enable WeatherKit on a real App ID and to ship on the App Store.
  • You must turn on the WeatherKit capability for your App ID in the Apple Developer portal. The project already declares the entitlement.
  • WeatherKit has a monthly call allotment and usage-based fees after that. Apple sets those prices and can change them. Review current WeatherKit pricing on Apple’s developer site before you publish.
  • The iOS Simulator can run the rest of the app without WeatherKit. Live weather on a device will not work until the capability and billing are in place on your team.
  • Android does not use WeatherKit. Plug in any weather API you already pay for (or a free tier) via the included WeatherService interface.

Key Features

  • Explainable on-device AI risk engine (8 weighted signals, logistic scoring, personal baseline that adapts as the user logs more history)
  • Apple Health / Health Connect integration: sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, hydration
  • Live local weather signal (barometric pressure delta, humidity) tied into the risk model
  • Menstrual cycle-aware hormonal risk window, from Health cycle data or a one-tap Today check-in
  • Late-caffeine check-in on Today that feeds the same predictor (no HealthKit required for this signal)
  • Protect Today checklist when risk is elevated: drink 400 ml, skip late coffee, take your preventive, keep rescue med close
  • Log Migraine with pain scale, aura, symptoms, triggers, mood, notes, photos, and voice memos
  • Attack duration: start time, Still Going toggle, end date, and one-tap End Attack on Today and in Emergency Mode
  • Attach medication taken on this attack — unlocks the medication-effectiveness chart
  • Automatic medication-overuse-risk warning (10+ abortive days in a rolling month)
  • Insights dashboard: pain trend, day-of-week heatmap, trigger frequency, medication effectiveness, and a photo/voice Memories timeline
  • Dedicated high-contrast Emergency Mode: end attack, medication timer, guided breathing, one-tap emergency contacts
  • In-app Appearance themes (Indigo, Teal, Rose, Forest, Midnight) — recolor the whole app without editing configuration files
  • Emergency contacts and medications managed in Settings
  • Home Screen + Lock Screen widget and Live Activity (iOS) / Glance widget (Android) showing live risk
  • PDF report export for sharing with a physician
  • On-device encryption at rest; no third-party data sale by design
  • Full onboarding with permission education for Health, Notifications, and Location

Built Natively — No Hybrid Framework

iOS: Swift, SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors), NavigationStack, WidgetKit + ActivityKit (Live Activity), HealthKit, WeatherKit, BackgroundTasks, PDFKit, Keychain, SwiftData persistence (encrypted at rest), XcodeGen project generation.

Android: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material 3, Hilt DI, Room, Health Connect, WorkManager, Glance widgets, DataStore, Play Services Location, EncryptedSharedPreferences.

What’s Included

  • Complete Xcode project (source + project.yml for XcodeGen) with app target, WidgetKit extension, and a unit test target
  • Complete Android Studio Gradle project with unit tests (AI engine) and instrumented tests (Room persistence)
  • Full design system on both platforms: color tokens, typography scale, spacing system, reusable components
  • Designed app icon (not a placeholder)
  • Visual Branding Studio (branding-studio.html) plus expanded documentation with a non-technical Getting Started section, screenshot walkthrough, and separate setup paths for technical and non-technical buyers
  • Clean MVVM architecture with protocol/interface-based repositories, so swapping in your own backend doesn’t touch the UI layer

Requirements to Build & Publish

  • Xcode 16+ and an active Apple Developer account (required for HealthKit and WeatherKit entitlements, and to set your own bundle ID / App Group). WeatherKit also involves associated usage costs — see the warning above.
  • Android Studio (current stable) and a Google Play Console account
  • iOS 17+ / Android 9 (API 28)+ target devices

Please Read Before Purchasing — What Requires Your Own Setup

This is a production-architected app, not a finished, store-submittable product. The following are intentionally left for you to configure with your own accounts and credentials, since they can’t ship pre-configured with anyone else’s keys:

  • Apple WeatherKit (iOS): requires your own Apple Developer account and involves associated costs (Program membership plus Apple’s WeatherKit usage fees). See the warning above.
  • Cloud backend: not wired in. A backend interface/protocol is already defined on both platforms — drop in Firebase (or any backend of your choice) without touching the UI.
  • In-app purchases / subscriptions: data model is in place; StoreKit 2 (iOS) and Play Billing (Android) products are not configured.
  • Your own bundle ID, signing team, and App Group (iOS) / application ID (Android).
  • Android weather provider: implement the included WeatherService with any API. Android does not use WeatherKit.
  • Legal privacy policy & compliance review for your specific jurisdiction before submitting to the App Store / Play Store — the architecture is privacy-ready (on-device encryption, no data sale, exportable/deletable data) but this is not a substitute for legal sign-off.

Branding Without Editing Config Files

Open the running app → Settings → Appearance and tap a theme. The whole app updates instantly. Preview themes first in branding-studio.html. Change the display name and icon in Xcode / Android Studio’s visual editors. You do not need to hand-edit YAML or JSON for a standard white-label recolor.

Support

Item support covers help with bugs in the supplied code and following the included documentation. Customization requests, backend integration work, WeatherKit billing questions for Apple, and App Store/Play Store submission on your behalf are outside the scope of support.
