AMD’s involvement includes providing access to cutting-edge compute resources and training programs for researchers, educators, and startups as part of their AMD University Program, AI Developer Program, and AI Academy. Additionally, the collaboration will support the Alice Recoque, France’s first planned exascale supercomputer, which is set to be powered by AMD technology, thereby bolstering the country’s AI research capabilities.
AMD: AMD provides high-performance computing solutions including AI-optimized CPUs, GPUs, networking, and open software ecosystems for cloud, embedded systems, and supercomputers. It recently collaborated with Eviden to power Alice Recoque, France’s planned first exascale supercomputer. In this announcement, AMD signed a Letter of Intent with the French government to offer compute resources, training via its University Program, AI Developer Program, and AI Academy, and support for the broader AI ecosystem including a Center of Excellence.
